Trip to Pulau Undan

My friends has offered me to join them fishing at Pulau Undan. Pulau Undan is the last Island in Melaka. Pulau Undan or Undan Island is one of the few Island in Melaka apart the famous Pulau Besar (Great Islands). No people live here except for the Lighthouse operator and the Radar Tower at the Island. The lighthouse at Pulau Undan was completed in 1880 during British rule in Malacca as a beacon to all the ships that past along Malacca coast. Now the Lighthouse is still in operation but with added second newer concrete tower (Radar tower) for shipping communications.

Undan Islands located about 15miles of the coast of Malacca and as the Island is very small, it is solely reachable by boat. Public are prohibited to enter both of the tower and its site. Camping and Fishing can be done here with permission from the authorities. Boats can be rent either from Umbai Jetty or Klebang Beach.

Undan Islands may be small but it still have interesting nature surroundings like white sandbank, corals and variety of fish like garoupa and parrotfish.

Faces of Intan

This is my beloved daughter. Intan Zarfisya. Intan now 2 years old. Hyperactive child....very hard to bring her sleep. Whenever I hold my car key, only this word came from her mouth. "yea...yea...nak balan.." hahahahaha...

But everything seem quite for now. Intan now with her mom at my mother in-law house. I can only see Intan on my off-day. Miss Intan and my wife so much....

A Famosa

Now, This a favorite place for tourist. A Famosa...there's a lot to see especially at night. Building's glow up with neon light. Tree's lighten up with colorful spotlight. That's why I love to take picture at night. But it's tricky enough for me as a beginner. As it will use a long shutter speed, I really need some place to lean to prevent shaking. In other word... "Damn, I need a tripod"

A Night at Melaka Mall

Hi guys...After a few days walk around Melaka, here's the shot taken at Melaka Mall. It's very nice to see. But sometimes illegal racer help to make everything come to life around here. This shot taken aroung 1:20am. When?? not sure. Can't remember.

There is a few other shot but haven't edit yet...I'll publish it here another time.

The moment it stop

Around 7pm after the rain stop. I pack up my gear and start the engine to go home. The road still wet, rain drop still dripping from the leaves and suddenly my mom said, "Why not we stop the car for a moment" while pointing to the sky.

Put the hazard light on and I'm quickly grab my Canon and fire it up...I'm so excited until my battery dried out.....dohhhh....and thats the moment it stop.

Symphony of Shutter

After around a 1000+ shutter's, I begin to start familiar with my new SLR. This picture taken at my village 2 days ago. The weather began to overcast...the wind began to blow...the clouds began to cover the sun...finger began to press the button...and the Symphone of Shutter are start to sound.

Where my Pixel begin...

My interest in photography already exists within me for so long ... due to my work tight working schedule, so I had to put it away for a while, but now everything come back after a few weeks ago I have some extra time to spend with it..
Here's my eye's of moment that i bought it last week. It's a Canon EOS 550D. It's good start for a new entry like me.. Very hard to make choice interm of quality.. Some says Nikon...Some says Canon...
After get advice from my sister, I've choose Canon...Want to know why??? Because she said Canon...hahahah



Rite now I'm only using provided EF-S 18-55 IS lens. Will get another lens for a longer range. For me, this 18-55 lens already give me full satisfaction. Very sharp and beautiful photo. I love to take a landscape scene and yes I need a longer range and wider view lens..But I need to learn more about lens...Maybe some of you guys can give me advice on what suit for me...
